PUBLISHER, ENTREPRENEUR, FATHER OF 3
The original Culpepper is one of Alberta's busiest entrepreneurs with interests in publishing, communications and the hotel and gaming industry. After completing university, Clarence joined the family's operations in Fort McMurray, Alberta, to manage several restaurants, including an A & W, which was the first in Canada to generate over 1 million dollars in gross sales. He was a founding member of the 'Fort McMurray Academy of Chefs de Cuisine' and spearheaded the first apprenticeship-cooking program at Keyano College in the same city.
Clarence helped develop the first Alberta Food and Beverage Service Training Program and is a former Vive-President of the Alberta Restaurant Association, responsible for Industry Education. Clarence led the project teams that created 2 national best sellers, 'The Bachelors Guide To Ward Off Starvation' and 'The Bachelors Guide To Libations', which have sold over 250,000 copies.
A Father of 3, Clarence remains active with his family and community.

AUTHOR, SCRIPT WRITER VOICE ARTIST, FATHER OF 4
Michael Kryton has dedicated his life to creativity, working as a professional 'creative' for almost 30 years with a diverse skill set, which includes writing, directing and producing for radio and television, composing and performing music as well as performing behind the microphone and in front of the camera. In the latter 80s-early 90s, Michael became a household face in Canada as a notorious television spokesperson for a national consumer electronics chain. He has also produced some of the largest scale, multi-media, live events in Western Canada. His work has garnered awards in Hollywood, New York, Edmonton and Toronto.
This is Michael's first book, having written many scripts and articles over the years as a warm up. Michael has known Clarence for almost 30 years (actually writing his first radio commercials for Clarence's early Alberta operations) and teamed up with him and Yardley to promote the second book in the series, The Bachelor's Guide To Libations'. He continues to be a very active part of the communications industry in Alberta.
Michael is a Father of 4 ranging from 8 to 18, all of whom served as part of the editorial review staff for this book --- whether they wanted to or not.
YARDLEY JONES
ILLUSTRATOR, CARTOONIST PAINTER, FATHER OF 6
ILLUSTRATOR, CARTOONIST PAINTER, FATHER OF 6
Yardley Jones is an internationally renowned illustrator and cartoonist whose work has been requested by Prime Ministers, US Presidents and snubbed by British Royalty. From Canada's Diefenbaker and America's Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Clinton, to Britain's Princess Margaret, the Welsh-born artist has been editorializing life and politics since the early 60s, where he began his career after moving from the UK to Canada with his wife in 1957.
Yardley's work has appeared in the Toronto Telegram, the Montreal Star and the Edmonton Journal. Recently, the University of Alberta celebrated his over 45-year career with an exhibition of his work at the University's gallery. Canada Post even immortalized his art on a stamp.
An avid health nut, Yardley, now in his 70s, still runs marathons. Like his marathons, Yardley is never running out of ideas, and continues to paint watercolors, create cartoons, and bring together life and art in his Edmonton studio.
Yardley is a Father of 6 and Grandfather to many.
SPYDER YARDLEY-JONES
ILLUSTRATOR, CARTOONIST ARTIST IN RESIDENCE, CRAFTSMAN
ILLUSTRATOR, CARTOONIST ARTIST IN RESIDENCE, CRAFTSMAN
Spyder Yardley-Jones is continuing to pursue the family's passion and making a name for himself in the process. His art shows in Canada and the US are attracting more attention all the time. When the tattoo-covered artist isn't busy creating caricatures and illustrations for publications and graphic novels, he invests in young minds, conducting workshops and programs, including a literary youth camp called 'Youth Write'.
His diverse artistic nature is evident on the walls of his home --- in every room. Recently, Spyder began to construct eclectic, miniature model 'environments' featuring fantasy-like buildings and working mechanical devices.
Spyder is not yet a Dad, although there are many of his young students who would be very willing to volunteer to be the Kid in his house.
